february snow
and just when winter seemed to be over,
and the first flowers unfold in tiny drops of color
the snow returns
falling in those thick flakes
that i wished for
in january

One of my favourite (and most missed since moving to Auckland)sights.
I'm going to watch all the small stones this evening as my reward for a full day's writing.
