i doodle, you 'ku, litrostory, milestone + mornings

over at Yay Words, Aubrie Cox is turning March into a month of "I Doodle, You 'Ku". The concept? "Is simple: here’s a doodle. Now write a poem to accompany it!" - here are the guidelines: I Doodle, You ‘Ku 2013, and here is the blog link with current doodle on top: Yay Words March Doodles

the starting point is a cat-and-bird-doodle. and as yesterday was about eating veggies here while sitting behind the terrace door and looking at the chilly garden, i arrived at this one:

The veggie cat’s silent dream:
feathered flowers
a rain of sesam seeds,
and a glass door

more theme notes from March: Folded Word is doing a poetic twitter contest with the theme “Milestone”. which fits the mood of those days, more here.

and Litrostory is moving forrward, but gives the organizer a bit of headache: “writers, please read story so far before adding lines, beautiful though the random lines are! Will have "story so far" up later.” (which is now online, here: #litrostory: the story so far")
the next litrostory tweet then started with the words: “There was no use in worrying about it...”

my fav line so far: "That’s trouble with choices. Power to choose means responsibility for the choice. A thin smile, and I headed to the cliff edge."

the things you can do in 140 characters...

and photo friday is up with the new theme: “mornings”.
