island diary: here comes the sun (and the moon)

after the rainy arrival:  finally the sun. so good.

the weather forecast had promised it, but after the evening still was cloudy, it was a bit hard to believe.
yet when waking in the early morning, i looked out of the window - and saw the moon. so: no clouds.

got up early for a bay walk, and the sky was all blue.




this is from almost the same place, just looking in the other direction, with the moon still up.

just feeling really sorry for those who had to leave early this morning as their holiday ended - and who had the rain for their holiday days, and the sun for goodbye.
