eclectica: Every Sunday

in every issue, eclectica runs a special poetry feature. the rules are simple: "write a poem containing four pre-chosen words."
the words for the current issue were: yarn (or yam), cushion, attic, and cocoon.

i carried the words with me for 2 days. then, on a thursday, i wrote a poem that now is up in the new issue: "Every Sunday".

and here the link to the eclectica special feature - the feature page also includes the new 4 words: branch, daughter, wrinkle, and globe.

Such a beautiful poem; melancholic and bittersweet...

thanks karyn ~

i'm still not sure where this was coming from. maybe winter melancholia, crystallized in words.
