if things had worked out, i would walk along the ocean now. instead i walk along the spring flowers in the garden here, and keep returning to the tulips. the first 2 of them opened this morning, almost as if to add some unexpected highlight to this day, one that i otherwise would have missed.
the sky was blazing in blue this morning. now some hazy clouds move in. but it's warm. the warmest sunday of the year. i can sit outside, on the terrace, barefoot. and read.
