52/250: Unfinished

the new 52/250 theme issue is up: "The Last Time"
the story i have in it is: Unfinished

for me, "the last time" was like a boomerang theme - i had an idea, sat down to write, and the story came out well - only that it turned to long. and didn't want to be cut down.
oh well, i thought - i can do another last time. and tried. but the second last time didn't want to come together. after a couple of attempts, i let go off the idea, and thought i skip the task for this week. then the deadline approached, and i thought, i give that last time one last try. and returned to this fragment of a story that was still sitting in a writing file, unfinished. now it's finally complete, in all its unfinishedness.

who said give people a deadline and watch surprises happen?
