upcoming challenges: least favorite fluffy trees

friday and it's sunny, and warm like spring, despite the fact that almost every shop has "Grabgestecke" on sale: ready-made and long-lasting bouquets to put on the graves now that the summer flowers have withered. first of November is a bank holiday here in Germany: Allerheiligen. traditional the day to go and visit the graves of deceased family members. which leads to the 52/250 flash issue of this week, with the fitting theme: Tombstones. i paused with this theme, but have a poem in the upcoming issue "Least Favorite" (deadline: this Sunday).

more challenges: the new photo friday theme is up, it's "Fluffy". there are 100 photos online already. will go dig through files later today, i am tempted to take part after the previous "architecture" theme that keeps inspiring me, and lead to the photo underneath. the link now got picked up by Jean Morris in her blog "Tasting Rhubarb" in her photo post "Good day for photos" - thanks! and see: another tree.

more trees will unfold on the day of All Saints, when the new issue of the blog carnival "Festival of the Trees" goes live. (deadline is: today).
