5 days to the launch of the first language/place blog carnival. more on the carnival, here, it will be a monthly cross-blog-event, with more than 20 bloggers and authors joining the first edition.
parallel to language/place, the upcoming issue of blueprintreview is now in the layout phase, the launch is planned for start of December, with preludes to it going live in the blueprint blog this month - the first entries are up already: sanitarium -- it is -- identity.
when visiting the blueprint blog, take a moment to visit the blog roll (sidebar, scroll down a bit) - you might find the one or other language/place blog note popping up already.
while working on both projects yesterday, i thought: it is such an interconnected triangle of themes: language, place, identity - and the ways those three factors influence each other.
