from mountains to the ocean

here's the missing link of the posts: on monday, we said goodbye to the French Alps, and drove towards the southern coast of France, to Narbonne, which is at the Golfe du Lion. from the bay here, you can see the border mountains of Spain, the Pyrénées, which we will visit tomorrow on a day trip. the weather is still amazingly good for September. summer sun. warm wind. beautiful skies.

 these are salt water lakes, with a holiday settlement - that's where we have a small holiday house with sun terrace. the ocean is just some minutes to the left. the mountains at the horizon are the pyrénées
