the new photo friday theme is: Tall. my first thought was: Eiffeltower. but that photo is already online: Paris, bus 42, stop: Eiffeltower.
so i browsed files, and arrived at 2 tall moments: one is from a while ago: a totem pole in the British Museum, London. and the other is from this week, the Old Town Hall of Esslingen, tall itself, and currently with a tall tree-pole in front of it: a sign of Narrenzeit/Carnival. the plates on the pole relate to the different alemannic carnival "tribes".
this seems to be turning into the week of counterparts.
