today is the last full island day. tomorrow will be the day to head homewards, yet there is still half a day waiting - our flight leaves in the evening, and we can stay in the appartment until the afternoon.
it still feels like a slight countdown already: the last jog along the beach, the last diner upcoming, and this afternoon: the last drive throught the mountain range. which connected with the new photo friday theme "Downward" - from this spot, it's 8 miles downwards to sealevel, where i took a second downward photo:
PS: the german word for "downwards" is "abwärts" - and homewards is almost same in German: "heimwärts"
