just found this photo while clicking through the july photo files. i have no memory of taking it - i guess it's an accidental photo, snapped without noticing.
on a more intended note, i keep enjoying the online courses i came across - especially this one: "Fantasy and Science Fiction: The Human Mind, Our Modern World" by Eric Rabkin:

after listening to it, i tried to remember my favourite childhood tale.
and up came the memory of "Die 3 Fragezeichen" - "The Three Question Marks", a series of kid detective stories, but of course, the symbolism is interesting:
