It's wintertime in Germany, and we had several nights with frost, and the usual strings of windy and grey days. But right now, a stream of air from the South brings mild temperatures. Sometimes, when the wind fades just when the sun comes out, it is warm enough to sit outside for a bit, and read.
That's how this summer moment happened: I opened the book from the library, sat in the sun, and read the "Sommernovelle" - "short summer novel". It transported me right into another season for a while. So nice.
And a more technical moment of being transportet into another time and space: a flight moment from a past flight to the Canary islands (which is were the current mild air is coming from)
