leaf press: snow
it started snowing yesterday. and just matching the weather, a very snowy collaborate winter poem now went live in leafpress. the poem is written by about 90 poets. the complex, simple concept: each contributor sends 1 snow stanza (hereby omitting the "snow" word), and the good people at leafpress then merge everyhing into one fluent poem.
here's the link: leaf press - Snow
i am part, too, and this is my stanza:
"I peel myself out of home's warmth to go jogging after all
My breath turns to clouds in a frozen forest full of hidden birds."
and fancy, the way this year starts with a collaborate publication for me.
