after reading Hornby's essays on reading ("The Polysllabic Spree") in December, i got curious for his own writing, and came across "How to be Good" in the library. a rather thought-provocative and at the same time hilarious book about moral dilemmas, cynicism as a survival strategy - and the surprises that may happen when a cynic suddenly turns samaritan.
