spring arrived overnight. flowers pop up in unexpected corners now, like this one: a Schneeglöckchen - "snow-little-bell". the green sprouts beyond it are day lilies.
i will try a sunnier shot tomorrow. but somehow, i liked the contrast of the fresh green in the shade, and the withered twigs from last year.
