blogger was unavailable here yesterday, together with the rest of the web. which fitted the mood of the place i visited: a mountain monastery named Lluc. monks still live here. but it comes with the sweets of modern civilization now: an ice stall in the front yard, a cafe, a restaurant serving paella. yet, step through the door, and you are moved back in time.
