when i picked the book in the library, i thought it was a novel. wrong i was. it's Brodkey's reflection on his last years of life. which came too early.

i looked for the original title, it's "This Wild Darkness. The Story of My Death." - for the German version of the book, they reduced this to "The Story of My Death."
