november, and i am taking part in NaNoWriMo (more about that in another post). the first counterpart-effects are already showing: my muse went on a poetry/revision-detour. out came: "Absorb".
the first (and longer) draft of this poem dates back to february. i gave up on it then. now, with a different approach (basically: cut+risk), the poem finally found its shape. still not sure where those images are coming from. but there they are, and already found a perfect place in The, a blog of words.
+ a thought: looking at the recent publications, it seems that this might be a new season of short short works: "Three" has 43 words, "Sliver" runs up to 95, and "Absorb" counts 29. added to that, there is a short piece upcoming in Nanoism, with 24 words.
