(and here's a thing i still find funny: the english word "gift" means "poison" in german: "Gift". while gifts to give are "Geschenke". on the other hand, the "i find it funny" term is the very same in german: "ich finde es lustig".
and "on the other hand" turns into "on the other side": "auf der anderen Seite". which also can be pulled into one word: "'andererseits")
