Negative Suck: Growth
in november, i went to visit a gallery not far from here. the gallery is in an old villa, set in a park. that day, i had my camera with me, and took 6 pictures on the way to/from the gallery. the 4th picture i took is "Growth" - it's a photo of an open-air sculpture that looks like a rough start of a construction site. the image is now up in Negative Suck, here the direct link: Growth / Negative Suck
it's always fascinating for me to see how an image turns out in layout, and how some aspects get enhanced through the combination with poetry or fiction, like now with the poem from Justin Blackburn: "Grown Up Children." here a half stanza from it:
my society survived and threaded me
please do not tell me you love me
i would be so embarrassed
and as it connects through the sky theme, here a bit more about one of the other images i took that day, "Parkig Position". it was the very first image i took, it's very colorful, and got published in Splash of Red, here the link: Red Gallery/Dorothee Lang -> it's the middle one, the sky reflected in the top of a (very red and freshly polished) car that i happened to park next to.
