MiCrow: 10 p.m.

it was sunday morning, a bit after 10, when i browsed the web and came across this fullofcrow tweet: “Submissions are almost closed for MiCrow, the flash fiction section at Full Of Crow and for Blink Ink Print #2.”

i had visited Full of Crow in december, but somehow must have missed MiCrow, even though i am into microformats these days. so i clicked through my files. and came up with 2 images. and sent them over. one of them is now up in the MiCrow winter issue: 10 p.m.

this is from an event / stadium zone not far from here. the stadium once was called "Neckarstadion", but following the current sponsoring trend, now is named "Mercedes-Benz-Arena". just some steps from it is "Porsche Arena". which pretty much sums up the automobile manufacturers around here. if you look close, you can spot the round arena roof in the top middle of the image.

and nice coincidence: the second text on the page, "Sunflowers", is from Jessamyn Johnston Smyth. i wrote to her earlier this week: together with Ann E. Michael, she edits the upcoming issue of qarrtsiluni. which is open for submissions now: Call for submissions: "New Classics".
