that's the vulcano cloud. the name of the vulcano is as unpronouncable as the chaos it creates: Eyjafjallajökull.
for now, the airports are closed until 14.00. maybe they stay closed until 20.00. maybe they open for flight windows. most probably, we won't know until departure time (6 am sunday) if our flight is going, or if it will be cancelled, and we turn into one of the 50000 stranded holiday passengers on standby.
in weird contrast, it is a bright sunny day today.
