sunday morning. the blue iris that is unwrapping since last saturday now finally opened, in lilac. and it isn't living alone: its petals are home of a spider, i noticed it while taking the close-up photo. click the image to enlarge, then you can see this tiny garden tenant, in the centre of the petal.
and i counted them now, the iris stems. there are around 80, many of them with multiple petals, and the first white one is now about to open, too. it feels like the garden is in celebration mood. following this, i updated tags: here's a stream of growth posts.
