also, for my current projects: a beginning. an ending (probably). and following this, a slightly different focus. still trying to figure this one out.

on a less personal note, it's a time of difficult changes in europe. governments try to adjust structures: retirement plans, energy/climate strategies, integration of immigrants, health care .. , the whole agenda of postponed problems. this lead to mass protests in several countries, including germany. it's a weird dance of the realization that things need to change, and opposition to plans that might have direct effects on one's life, and handing responsibility to another group ("the rich ones", "the unemployed", "the bankers", "the unwilling", "the politicians"...). the gaps widen. change isn't easy.
