double 180° rainbow
it's a week of sky phenomenons. after the lunar eclipse on wednesday, yesterday evening brought a double 180° rainbow. this time, the camera didn't want to capture it, probably overwhelmed by the combination of bright reflected light and dark sky. but the photo at least gives an idea of the spectacle.
there was a similar rainbow some summers ago, back then the camera was more willing - it's too large for 1 picture, so i created a collage panorama back then. it's still online, here: larger than life
and if you look close in the image above, you can actually see the sheets of rain at the horizon.
