An Island Diary

yesterday i longed for a walk on the beach, and then started to browse the blog entries from the island time. which brought the idea to label all entries, so that they form an island diary - a place to return to even when the beach is too far away for a walk.

here's the stream, starting at the end and moving to the start in the timeless logic of blogs (or just browse downwards): An Island Diary

Going through this again, in reverse chronological order, was a delight. You've both taken us to the island and made us yearn for it. Thank you.

the island, it's like a breathing place. glad you enjoyed your virtual stay there.

and a note: the image above, it looks so serene and almost empty, but when i walked into the beach, i found myself in between dozens and dozens of people. which now makes me think that the blog notes - like the process of forming memory - in the sum give a slightly idealized image of the island.
