the new photo friday theme is: "Dogs". my first reaction was: that's too bad - i don't have any dog images. but then i remembered one: the snow dogs. i ran into them during a foggy winter walk. they felt like mythical figures back then: protectors of the city beyond the trees.
later, they even found their way into a poem by Marcia Arrieta, here's their stanza
continue until you reach the land of untitled
there are many triangles & circles & squares
leap over the wall (the snow dogs will protect you)
