familiar (sky) faces

a series of sky moments,
inspired by the new photo friday challenge: "Familiar Faces"

 




(yes it's there. look closer, higher. there it is)


the new photo friday challenge is "Familiar Faces".
not an easy challenge, this one, if you usually don't take photos of people,
and are hesitant to put photos of friends and family online
(lucky those who have a pet.. :)

but then, it's themes that aren't easy that make those challenges interesting
and browsing images with a bit more of an open definition, i arrived at a familiar face -
one that always makes me want to take his picture:
the moon in the sky here.

so here are some of his images -
moon is male in German: "he moon" -
and in the image with the roof, another familiar "face":
the blackbird that sings for sunrise



not yet, though: the blackbirds are here, but won't sing in winter
which it is, again. the photo below is from this morning,
with the familiar color of snow: the face of winter
