Island diary: 8k, reading at the bay, saturday

a photo from yesterday: reading at the bay. which is double-nice after the long winter, and after a long jogg: 8k, for the first time this year. it went well.

now i am not sure how to continue: try for 10k? 12k? with all the marathon runners around, 12k still doesn't feel like much. but then, for me it would be.

while wondering about that, i returned to the thought from earlier this week: that our minds like to set tasks, and in this world of endless options and directions, then find meaning in fulfilling those singular self-created tasks.
