daily routine + the obstacle is the path

a month ago, i was walking along the bay of Mallorca with this feeling of free space and time, with summer coming.

now, i am walking along a bay of work - it’s like a wave of to-dos, with the next approaching before the present one is done. on an on. somehow it will work out, i guess. i try not to get overwhelmed, and not cancel things like going for a walk, or going to the spa, or just taking some time to enjoy the new flowers that are opening in the garden, or reflecting on things in words, in this blog. my horoscope was rather funny about it, saying:

“This will be a time of new activities and new encounters, some quite unexpected, that will generate both excitement and personal growth. You are not satisfied with your daily routine under this influence, which signifies a time when you can break away from the routine and introduce into your life fresh elements that will keep you alive psychologically.”

to which i responded: “actually i would be rather satisfied with my daily routine for some days, really.”

but then, the horoscope is only missing the point on first glance. the new encounters - that was Munich and the comic festival. i am glad i went there. and the wave of work, it's really nothing compared to what the people in the flooded areas of Germany are facing. water: as beautiful and calming as it feels when you walk along it, it also has this other side: that it can come and take homes.

a link and quote from the walk through this wave of work:

zenhabits: the obstacle is the path
"Often we’re discouraged because of some tough challenge or obstacle in our way. But a shift in mindset from a Zen proverb can change everything: “The obstacle is the path.” The obstacle isn’t something standing in our way. It’s the way itself." - zenhabits
