Best of 2015

These days in between years, they are a good space for reflections, and looking forward and backward. And for looking through the photo files - "Best of 2015" is the current photo task.

Here are some of my picks - the first is from November, walking through the wood, and being in just the right place at just the right time:



Another precious time and place of this year: Mallorca



And one of the real surprises of the year: Painting. first, for months, in smaller format, sitting at the table. And then, one day, I tried a different way. Or: found the next step of my way:



One of the really good places, in many ways: Bad Waldsee.



And this one, from spring. That was along the walkway to the hospital. I still remember looking up and seeing those petals. And walking on, and then stopping and walking back. And standing there, despite all, and feeling this touch of "Hanami" - this Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, especially the cherry blossom.
