i finished "I Am Legend" on sunday. and got tricked. even though i noticed the index when i started to read, and even though i knew there were some short stories included, i somehow forgot about them while reading. and thus, thought the narrative would keep moving on for at least another hundred pages.
and found myself, suddenly, at the end, without warning. wishing the story would go on. and on.
