saturday morning. i just walked through the garden: soon now, the iris will start to bloom. there are about 50 developed stems, from colours shining through, it will be white petals, lilac petals, and some amber ones. each stem carries 1-3 petals.
and here, the learning of the day: most petals are actually clusters of flowers.
