Famous Album Covers: Hobnail Ballet
after tuning together a first fictional album in July (The White Squares), there now is a second famous cover of a band that doesn't exist: Hobnail Ballet.
the idea for this band actually developed in a futuristic fictional story written together with Steve Wing. the collaboration then extended into the cover - here the sentence that jingled the band into being:
"Sal grinned, tapped the remote to bring the runaway rhythms of the Hobnail Ballet down to a sub-thundering volume, and turned around. “Hiya Jacie,” he said.
and here is the full-size cover, complete with album announcement: Hobnail Ballet: spiked.
