on Friday, i came across this tweet from tnb: "The latest 'View From Your Phone' photos.... http://tiny.cc/6TwKW"
i checked out the link, and arrived right at 'Auckland, New Zealand' and 'Alligator Alley, Florida', and dozens of other images. such a good round-the-world project. no names, no explanations, just places and images.
a bit later, i went to do the usual friday shopping, and on the way back, drove along a country road. i stopped there, to take a phone photo. back home, i mailed the photo to tnb. now i just checked back - and the photo is up already. here the direct link: "Freitagshof, Germany, 2.19 p.m."
("Freitagshof" is the name of the farm village close to that point. literally translated, "Freitagshof" means "Friday farm". didn't realize it when i stopped there, but how fitting for a friday photo.)
