frankfurt book fair & nobel prize literature

and more book news: i just started to download pictures when the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature was announced: Mario Vargas Llosa, from Peru. he received the prize "for his cartography of structures of power and his trenchant images of the individual's resistance, revolt, and defeat". i read one of his books and a biography in November 2008 and blogged about it back then - i just revisited the note, unfortunately it's in german, here the link.
