today is a bank holiday in germany ("Christi Himmelfahrt"), coming with some sun, and with some time to read - and with a friend's iPad, to check out the technology.
it's fun to browse the new language/place carnival outside under the sky, and so interesting to explore the participating blogs - such an intriguing mosaic of voices, themes and places. it took me to NY-City and to Oslo. and into trees.
also fitting into the language/place theme is the book i am reading: "How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less" by Sarah Glidden, it's a travel memoir written and drawn as a graphic novel. for an online preview, try Technoland - they also have an interview with Sarah Glidden online.
and some unexpected reads: after sending out the blueprint newsletter yesterday - which included the challenge call (here's the online version) - a surprise waited in the blueprint mailbox this morning: the first submissions.
